She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Koester and Anna; her husband Marvin Bierbaum; her siblings, Theola Searcy and Richard Koester; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Strubberg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Rothschild of Washington and Lisa Desmond of Washington; her sister Marcella Strubberg of Washington; her grandchildren, Lauren Summers (Travis), Leslie Busch (Stephen), Nicole Feldmann, Morgan Desmond (Jack) and James Desmond (Katelyn); and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Samantha, Cole, Eloise, Beau, Ezra, Ava, Waylon, Phoebe and Leah.
Memorial donations can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes School.
