She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Wilson and Alma Wilson; her siblings, Jean Wisby and Bob Wilson; and her children, Debbie Bandy, Diane Disbro, Paul Ford, Nancy Ayres and Laura Leigh Rhoades. She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
