With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Joseph Staten of Washington, Missouri, who passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Kenneth Joseph's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Kenneth Joseph has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Staten (Jenny) of Pacific, MO and Debbie Ladas (Paul) of Drexel, MO; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Emily and Luke Staten. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oltmann Funeral Home - Union (103 N Church St, Union, MO 63084). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Zion U. C. C. Cemetery (1200 N Washington Ave, Union, MO 63084).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Camp Mo-Val (checks payable to Zion UCC, designate Camp Mo-Val in the memo) or Meals on Wheels.
