He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Ben" Barringhaus and Agnes; his parents-in-law, Evert and Frances Voss; his wife Doris Barringhaus; and his siblings, Norbert, Virgil, Ervin, Glennon "Butch" Barringhaus and Dorothy Apprill.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Barringhaus (Annette) of Ellisville, MO, David Barringhaus (Anne) of Ballwin, MO, Brian Barringhaus (Nadine) of Austin, TX and Tim Barringhaus (Brigid) of Ballwin, MO; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Conner, Lauren, Alex, Lindsey Barringhaus, Brianne, Jonathon Tolj, Bentley, Joey and Edie Barringhaus; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Lanwermeyer (Wayne) of Washington, MO, Mary Berlener (Roy) of Hermann, MO, Ruthie Franssen of Washington, MO, Wanda Barringhaus of Washington, MO and Ken Apprill of Washington, MO. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Francis Borgia Regional High School or St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church.
