He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley M. Maune (Schriewer) and James "Jim" Maune; his siblings, Kathleen M. AuBuchon and John F. Maune; and his brothers-in-law, Harvey T. Shortt, Michael M. Shortt and Jerry Lakebrink.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Maune (Shortt); his sons, Timothy J. (Sara) of Dutzow and Brian M. (Kayla) of Krakow; his grandchildren, Natalie, Lynnea, Sylvia, Hailey, Jolene and Silas; his siblings, Jamie Lakebrink of New Haven, Cindy Frick (David) of Washington, Dale Maune (Dawn) of Hermann, Larry Maune (Carla) of Union, Peggy Adkison of Washington and Andy Maune (Cheri) of Washington; his parents-in-law, Millard "Bud" and Ann; and his siblings-in-law, Greg AuBuchon of Union, Kaye Disano (Jim) of St. Albans, Donna Meinershagen of Leslie, Vicki Leesmann (Marvin) of Marthasville, Velma Porter (Kevin) of Washington, Annette Kleekamp of Washington and Monika Harvey of Augusta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
