He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kleekamp and Elizabeth Kleekamp (Sieve); his parents-in-law, Edwin and Cecilia Voss; his siblings, Vincent (Dorothy), Hugo (Edna), Eugene (Rose), Anna Hagedorn (Bernard), Regina Eagan (Cornelius), Luella Overschmidt (Earl), Eleanor Terschluse (Robert) and Angeline Pagan (John); his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Kleekamp (Meyer), Alfred Voss (Josephine), Norbert Voss (Joan), Raymond Voss, Rita Brinker (Glennon) and Mary Voss (Othmar Voss); and his son-in-law James Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kleekamp (Voss); his children, Kathleen Kleekamp, Mary Beth Kleekamp, Christine Barrett (Darrel), Maureen Kleekamp, Roger Kleekamp (Lori) of Washington and Karl Kleekamp of Washington; and his brother Elmer (Betty Kleekamp) of Marthasville, MO. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
Due to Covid, the funeral is private.
Memorial donations can be given to Our Lady of Lourdes Church or gifts may be made in Mr. Kleekamp's memory to support research on Alzheimer's disease at Washington University School of Medicine.
