He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Helfrich and Hilda Helfrich; his wife Nancy Helfrich; his daughter Nicole Winistoerfer; his sister Linda Sherman; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Ballmann, Louis Taylor, Buzz Taylor and Donna Helfrich.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Helfrich of Union, MO and Steven Helfrich (Stacy) of Marthasville, MO; his grandchildren, Taylor Westhoff (Joseph), Zachary Winistoerfer (Abbie), Ella Winistoerfer and Abigail Helfrich; his great grandchildren, Ava, Liam and AJ; his siblings, Pat Terschluse (Gary) of Washington, JoAnn Heeger (Rick) of Union, Barb Hoffmann (Steve) of Washington, Mary Helfrich of Washington, Betty Ballmann of Washington, Rita Koritz (Mike) of Washington, Joyce Sullentrup (Kenny) of Washington, Thomas Helfrich of Delaware, Jim Helfrich of Washington and George Helfrich of Washington; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Kast (Glen) of Washington and John Sherman of Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
