He is survived by: his wife Joan Piontek; his children, Jeffrey Piontek (Jone) of Jefferson City, MO, Janise Rauch of Lancaster, PA, Jean Lamzik (Ken) of Washington, MO, Julie High of Wildwood, MO, Joleen Kleekamp (Bob) of Washington, MO and Jane Humphreys (Joe) of Washington, MO; and his brother Donald Piontek of Washington, MO. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Mr. Piontek to St. Francis Borgia Grade School.
