He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Kennedy Sr. and Maude Kennedy; his parents-in-law, Charles and Mary; his wife Judith Ann Kennedy; and his son Dennis Charles Kennedy.

He is survived by: his sons, John Dean Kennedy of Washington, MO and Lonnie Kennedy of Washington, MO; his grandchildren, John Patrick Kennedy, Trina Lewis (Nathan), Dennis Kennedy, Ashley Kennedy, Jeremy Kennedy (Skyler Reilly), Hannah Parker (John), Lonnie Kennedy Jr., Sarah Kennedy and William Kennedy; and his siblings, George Kennedy (Carla) of Gray Summit, MO and JoAnn Raymond of Union, MO. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
