It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Robert Watson of Washington, Missouri, born in Seymour, Texas, who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Watson and Minnie Ziegler; his stepfather Ralph Ziegler; his wives, Marge Watson and Marian Watson; his son David Watson; his siblings, Woodrow, Thomas, Edward Ziegler, Doris Daugherty, Patsy Mendenhall, Mary Fieldson and Margaret; and his grandson Matthew Watson.
He is survived by: his former wife Edith Marjorie Hutchison; his children, James Watson (Tammy) of Union, MO, Jeffrey Watson (Laura) of St. Clair, MO, Kathy Nevills (Butch) of St. Clair and Marjorie Lynn Watson; his daughter-in-law Judith Watson; his stepsons, Lonnie Goodson (Barbara) of William Goodson, Lennie Goodson of Bellgrade, MO and Darrin Portell (Noreen) of Pacific, MO; and his siblings, Joseph Ziegler of West Branson, MO and Rebecca Brown (Edward) of Fairdealing, MO. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
Memorials may be made to Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in St. Clair.
