It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Joanne Stokes of Washington, Missouri, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Lee Stokes and Luetta Stokes; and her siblings, William "Ken" Butts, Leo Butts and Maxine Neal.

She is survived by: her siblings, Don Stokes (Sandy) of Salem, MO, Leonard Butts (Robin) of Sullivan, MO and Judy Stokes of St. Louis, MO; her sister-in-law Judy Butts of St. Peters, MO; her godchildren, Cora and Sal Gallo; and her nieces and nephews, Brian Butts, Kenny Butts, Kevin Butts, Kraig Butts, Clay Stokes, Lynn Bockover, Kelly Clark, Ashlyn Cunningham, Jennifer Glaser, Kate Huggins, Kerry Murry, Kriste Noonan and Michelle Panke. She is also survived by eighteen great-nephews, eleven great-nieces, cousins and many friends.
