He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gillison and Helen Gillison; his siblings, David Gillison and Barbara Wilson (Walter); his niece Jessica Gerlach; and his nephew Michael Vaughn.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gillison (Shamulus) of Washington; his children, Todd Gillison (Laurie) of Union and Jennifer Jamison (Al) of Sullivan; his siblings, Lester Gillison of Illinois, Paul Gillison (Cindy) of Indiana, Sharon Vaughn of Houston and Gerol Gerlach (Jeff) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Kurtis Gillison, Hannah Gillison, Julie Gillison and Nora Gillison; and his stepgrandchildren, Melissa Wilson, Matthew Jamison and Eric Wilson.

Memorial donations are appreciated to either the church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
