He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Pottebaum and Lorene; his brothers, Joe Pottebaum, George Pottebaum and Leo Pottebaum (Audrey); his parents-in-law, Fern Juedemann (Red), Walter "Sonny" Branson Jr., Jane Theissen, Rosie Dunakey (Dan), Linda Luecke (Charlie) and Betty Branson; and his great grandchild Nolan Allender.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Pottebaum of Washington; his daughters, Connie Holdmeier (Mike) of Washington and Nancy Holdmeyer (Lester) of Washington; his granddaughter Rachel Allender (Jacob) of Washington; his great grandchildren, Jocelyn and Ethan Allender; and his parents-in-law, Virginia Pottebaum of Mexico, MO, Madge Pottebaum of Higbee, Rita Borcherding of New Haven, Bob Theissen of Washington, Gerald "Fuzzy" Branson (Kathryn) of Marthasville, Donna Thompson (Rholand) of New Haven, Dennis Branson (Virginia) of Washington, Faye Thomure (Roger) of Rosebud, Ronnie Branson (Karen) of New Haven and Donnie Branson (Rosie) of Berger. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
