He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Mescher (Gladys) and Gladys Mescher; his siblings, Virgil Mescher, Lawanda Mescher and Mary Beasley; and his stepson Lee Vickers (Donna).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Mescher of Washington; his children, Mark Mescher (Terri) of New Haven, Michael Mescher (Rick Bartlett) of New Haven, Monte Mescher of Metropolis, IL and Melinda Alexander (Beth Good) of Debary, FL; and his grandchildren, Debbie Calvert, Brandi Nadler, Blaine Mescher, Ashley Weilbacher, Gabrielle Chamberlain, Madyson Mescher, Leeah Crawford, Lydia Pelton, Benjamin Mescher, Tiffany Acton and Charlie Acton. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association are preferred.
