She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Gass and Hilda; her husband Earl Kempf; her siblings, Lucille Gass, Ruth Kaemper, Paul Gass and Marvin Gass; and her great grandchild Elliot Sage Kempf.
She is survived by: her children, William A. Kempf (Andrea) of Washington and Lynn M. Kempf of Hazelwood; her brothers, William Gass of Ballwin, IL and Earl Gass of Belleville, IL; her grandchildren, Ken Bumpus, Laura Schaefer (Heath), Leo Kempf (Rachel), Lillian Kempf and Lena Eyermann (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Lucy, Lincoln, Lola, Lazlo Schaefer, Henry, Oliver, Lila Kempf, Samson and Stella Eyermann.
