He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Louis and Mary Burhans; and his brother Paul Burhans. He is survived by: his wife Claire Saucier of Washington; his children, Michelle Burhans of Watsonville, CA and Donald Burhans of Aptos, CA; his grandchildren, Raven and Garett Ayo; his siblings, Russell Burhans (Sue) and Wendy Ross (Warren); his mother-in-law Frances Saucier of Washington; and his sister-in-law Jean Richardson (Bob). He is also survived by step-children, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Iron Spike Model Train Museum.
