He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kindel and Wilhelmina; his wife Patricia Kindel; his son Richard Kindel; and his brother Henry "Hank" Kindel.
He is survived by: his daughter Judy Dorpinghaus (Mark) of Washington; his grandchildren, Jacob Dorpinghaus (Jamie Gentges) of Wildwood, Laura Dorpinghaus of Kansas City, MO, Kayla Dorpinghaus of Columbia, MO and Amanda Dorpinghaus of Columbia; and his in-law Dan Boyce (Mary Ann) of Washingtn.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church (310 W Main St, Washington, MO 63090).
