He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Hoelscher and Marion; his wife JoAnn Hoelscher; his sisters, Darlene Ballmann, Rosalie Feldmann and Norma Kohne; his son-in-law Charles Byrd; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Ballmann, Bob Kohne and Robert Steffens.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Hoelscher of Washington, Cindy Byrd of Washington and Peggy Brinkmann (David) of Washington; his siblings, Michael Hoelscher (Linda) of Washington, Kenneth Hoelscher (Joyce) of Krakow, Robert Hoelscher (Jeanne) of Washington, Joannie Bleckman (Chuck) of Washington, Nancy Steffens, Jim Schwaller of Washington and Linda Kriete (Charles) of Washington; his brother-in-law Charles Feldmann; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Byrd (Kim Strubberg), Lucas Brinkmann, Aaron Brinkmann and Kayla Brinkmann; and his great grandchildren, Vesper Byrd and Ember Strubberg.
