He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Buxton (Patti) and Sperry; and his stepson William C. Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Buxton of Washington, MO; his stepdaughters, Susan Gildehaus (Kevin) of Washington, MO and Cathy Porter (Tom) of Eureka, MO; his grandchildren, Zach Gildehaus (Tiffany), Levi Gildehaus (Katie), Tori Gildehaus, Gabrielle and Andrea Porter; and his sister Vicki Politte (Kenny) of Sullivan, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to the First Christian Church of Washington.
