He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester McMahan (Ruby) and Crider; his parents-in-law, Ida Ray and Victor Kaver; and his siblings, James McMahan, Rebecca James and Jerry Zimmer.
He is survived by: his wife Rose McMahan of Washington, MO; his daughters, Malinda Scheible (David Mesey) of St. Clair, MO and Lisa Mackenzie (John) of O'Fallon, MO; his grandchildren, Tyler McMahan (Haley), Tristan Brooks, Brianna Brooks, Emma Scheible and Branden Scheible; his great grandchildren, Mycah and Myles McMahan; his goddaughter Dawn Homer; and his sister Donna McMahan (Jim Miner) of Louisiana, MO.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
