She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Kappelmann and Jenny; her son-in-law Bob Strubberg Jr.; her brother Don Kappelmann; and her fathers-in-law, Wayne Bell (Bernice) and Wendell Bell.

She is survived by: her husband Eugene Helsee of Washington; her children, Kathy Holtgrieve (Ken) of Comfort, TX, Tim Marsch (Missie) of Stony Hill, MO, Bryan Helsee (Dee) of Tulsa, OK and Jennifer Strubberg of Washington; her siblings, Shirley Ham of Washington, Charlie Kappelmann (Betty) of Sullivan and Tom Kappelmann (Gail) of Willow Springs, MO; her grandchildren, Matt Holtgrieve (Emily) of Texas, Kristina Patton (Clayton) of Texas, Amber Knight (Rick) of Connecticut, Noah, Hannah, Martha Helsee of Tulsa, OK, Olivia and Adrianna Strubberg of Washington; her great grandchildren, Zac, AJ, Kase, Luke Patton and Chloe Knight; and her parents-in-law, June Kappelmann of Washington, Delores Bell of Pacific, Rodney Bell (Marylou) of Washington and Virgil Frisbie (Jari) of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
