He is survived by: his former wife Mary Ann Butler; his children, Wayne Messex (Elizabeth) of Richwoods, MO, Benjamin Messex (Dana) of Union, MO, Nicholas Messex (Maggie) of Richwoods, Joshua Messex (Rhonda) of Richwoods, Sonia Stroup (Kevin) of Richwoods and Jody Smith (Robert) of Richwoods; and his sister Catherine Crews of Gerald, MO. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
