He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Gokenbach (Angela) of St. Louis, MO and Susan Lyle of Cape Girardeau, MO; his grandmother Wanda Howerton of Millersville, MO; his brother Eric Gokenbach (Tara Steffens) of Washington, MO; his aunts, Karen Hong of Chesterfield, MO, Gerlyn Loud (Randy), Joan Myles (Jeff) and Leanna Randol (Lee Mac) of Millersville, MO; and his great-uncle Gerry Gokenbach (Lorraine). He is also survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
