He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Spreckelmeyer and Theodora; his wife Eileen Spreckelmeyer; his sisters, Joan Voss and Ann Spreckelmeyer; his brothers-in-law, James Ziegerer and Norbert Voss; and his great grandchild Emma.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Buchholz (Alvie) of Washington, David Spreckelmeyer (Mary) of Washington, Kevin Spreckelmeyer (Donna Aff) of Washington, Linda Shelton (Andrew) of Washington, Paul Spreckelmeyer of Washington and Jill Schuler (Larry) of Washington; his sister Lois Ziegerer of Washington; his grandchildren, Wendy Wisdom (Daniel), Joshua Buchholz (Tiffany), Kristy Ziegelmeyer (Ricky), Scott Spreckelmeyer, Jamie Spreckelmeyer (Chris), Ashley Pehle (Chris), Kelsey Spreckelmeyer, Dakota Spreckelmeyer, Amanda Barron (Jason), Jeremy Shelton (Sarah), Jena Spreckelmeyer, Owen Spreckelmeyer, Ryan Spreckelmeyer, Jacob Schuler (Kate) and Justin Schuler (Rose); and his sister-in-law Vivian Vahrenberg. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (1206 Jefferson St, Washington, MO 63090). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Church (Jesuit Hall) (310 W Main St, Washington, MO 63090).
