Aleene Zawada Obituary

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Aleene had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Aleene may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald F. Zawada; and her parents, Meyer Schneider and Gertrude Schneider. She is survived by: her brother Arthur Schneider (Marcia); her nieces, Lisa Gluck (Peter) and Emily Kispert (Kevin); and her cousins, Dr. Marilyn Siegel and Dr. Barry Siegel.

A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the United Hebrew Cemetery (7855 Canton Ave, University City, MO 63130).

Memorial contributions preferred to Washington University, the JSU and the Crown Center.
