He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William S. Laney and Fern Laney (Shields); and his siblings, Elizabeth Ellison, Charles Laney, Tom Laney, Lorene Dotson of Purdy, Donna Smith of Washburn, Dortha Woolaway of Wheaton, Missouri, Jerry Laney (Betty) of McDowell and Joe Laney (Kathy) of Pioneer. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
