He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotte Swan. He is survived by: his wife Emily Swan of Washburn; his children, Daniel Swan of Charlotte, Olive Swan of Bartlesville, Heidi Gillispie (Joshua) of Buford, Georgia Swan and Amy Swan of Ashland, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Henry Gillispie and Adelle Gillispie; his father Franklin Swan (Lynn) of Paw Paw, Illinois; and his siblings, Frank Swan of Fulton, John Swan of Crystal Lake, Joel Swan of Oak Forest, Illinois, Cindy Martin of Chesterton and Barbara Colyer of Thompson Station, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
