She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Walz and Nellie Walz (Wheeler); her former husband Everett "Sandy" Slack Jr.; her spouse Johnie Hendrix; her son Royce Slack; and her brother Marv Walz.
She is survived by: her children, Preston Scott Slack (Sherry) of Seligman, Shawn Slack (Dorothy Fuller) of Garfield, Arkansas and Cheryl Laughlin of Pineville, Missouri; her brother Jerry Walz of Cody, Nebraska; her sister-in-law Theo Walz of Arthur, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Brandy Key (Nathan), Brian Slack, Dustin Slack, Makaylah Thompson (Kelly) and Royce Slack; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Sky, Zackery, Malachi and Scarlett; her stepchildren, Wayne Hendrix (Jackie), Bobbi Scucchi, Gina Thompson (Kerry), Keith Hendrix (Missy) and Brian Hendrix (Leslie); and her stepgrandchildren, Johnie, Josh, Jessica, Josy, Rachael, Jamie, Jay, Jazmine, Haley, Mason, Dusty, Bryson and Cooper. She is also survived by 13 step great-grandchildren.
