She was predeceased by: her parents, Cella Monroe and Birdie Mae Bates (Kenney); her husband Charles Bowden; her son Bobby Miller; and her siblings, Roland Bates and Dottie Bates.
She is survived by: her former husband Edgar Miller; her children, Rocky Miller (Shawnda) of Exeter, Jeffery Miller (Penny) of Seneca, Missouri and Christina Myers (Carl) of Washburn, Missouri; her brothers, John Bates of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Jessie Bates of Hot Springs, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Jeffery Miller Jr., Jesse Miller, Kevin Miller, Keisha Miller, Levi Myers and Leiland Miller; and her great grandchildren, Jeffery Miller III, Faith Miller and Marshall Miller.
