He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Chappell and Lois Ellen Chappell (Edens); and his daughter-in-law Kathy L. Chappell. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Chappell of Rogers, Arkansas and Malinda Cockrum (Jeff) of Washburn, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Eric Chappell (Robyn), Ryan Chappell (Regan), Kyle Chappell (Olivia), Rachel Chappell, Tyler Cockrum and Jason Cockrum (Shelbi). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
