He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Powers and Sarah Powers; and his sister June Zimmerman. He is survived by: his siblings, Ellen Powers, Wayne Powers (Francie) and Charlie; his children, Shirley Mulvey and Ellen Meinert; his stepchildren, Sara Araiza (Marco), Doug Powers, Jennifer Swetnam (Jon) and Tony Powers (Cindy); and his nieces, Amina Zeidan, Khaled Zeidan (Nikita) and Anthony Benner (Anna). He is also survived by nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make donations to Benton County Cancer Society so they may help others in the area.
