He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Shifflet and Julia Shifflet; his siblings, David, Wesley, Raleigh "Buddy" and Julia "Sissy" Greenwald (Jane Harper); and his close friend George Hild.
He is survived by: his former wife Jaqueline Burt; his children, Jeannette Wingo, Sherri Marchi, Scott Shifflet, Steven Shifflet and Stacy Sherman; and his sister Sandra Rowe. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, Nancy's family and many nieces and nephews.
