He is survived by: his wife Marlene Mieser of Warsaw; his children, Darin Meyer (Arlene) of Bakersfield, Andrew Meyer of Warsaw and Julie Bruer (Steve) of Lee's Summit; his grandchildren, Michael Bruer (Allie) of Peculiar, Marissa Longston (William "BJ") of Olathe, Monica Willis (Jaslon) of Blue Springs, Luke Meyer of Bakersfield and Christian Salazar of Houston; his great grandchildren, Murray Bruer and Easton Bruer; his sisters, Melba Merrick of Lee's Summit and Karen Joseph; and his siblings-in-law, Harland Mieser (Phyllis) of Concordia and Lavona Larimore (Richard) of Concordia, Missouri..
