He is survived by: his mother Esther J. Barnes; his significant other Patti "Pepe" Goetting; his son Mark Shannon Curd; his brother Stephen E. Barnes; his half-sister Jessie Ann Thomson (David); and his grandchildren, Payge (Tyler) and Tyler Curd.
