He was predeceased by: his parents, William Curtin and Edna Curtin; and his brother James Curtin (Gloria Curtin). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Custis (Susie); his children, Michael Curtin (Colleen) of Hollister, MO, Patricia Michalski (Steve) of Independence, MO and Mark Curtin (Ava) of Denton, TX; and his grandchildren, Julie Curtin, Travis Curtin, Nikki Curtin, Mark and Aubrey Swank. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.

“Ed was one of the men in the scout group that I will always remember. I remember having supper at their house and Ed was one of the men that had so much fun together in scouts. I only have good memories of the Curtain family and am so sorry for your loss. Ed lived a long life and I hope he was healthy and happy for all of his days on this earth. My dad passed away on Feb 17th so I know what you are going through. Love and peace to the Curtain family. Randy Baker”
