He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anderson and Evelyn Anderson (Sten); his brother Dennis John Anderson; and his former wife Darlene Anderson. He is survived by: his daughter Carla Shumar (Anderson); his stepsons, Michael and Joel Riggs; his grandsons, Paul and David Riggs; his siblings-in-law, Ronny Cheatham and Pamela Allenbrand; his son-in-law Charles Shumar of Thousand Oaks; his stepson Bryan Riggs; his daughters-in-law, Shelley (Michael Riggs) of Olathe and Debbie Riggs of Warsaw; his sister Debbie (Chuck Long); and his grandchildren, Amber Anderson (Nathan), Jessica Visalli (Brandon), Mike Riggs (Emily), Shaun Riggs, Alec Riggs, Kelsey Riggs (John Plaskey) and Abby Riggs. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
