With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jakul (Warrenton, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Taschler and Lottie Taschler; her husband John Jakul; and her siblings, Barbara Quante and Fred Taschler, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Linda Carroll (Gerard) of Charlotte, NC, John Jakul (Leslee) of Creve Coeur, MO, Mark Jakul (Sara) of Warrenton, MO, Michael Jakul (Averil) of St. Louis, MO, Dan Jakul of Warrenton, MO and Michelle Whitaker of Wright City, MO.; and her brother Stephen Taschler. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, a greater number of great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested be made in her name to Missouri Botanical Gardens, Loving Hands Hospice of Warrenton, MO or directly in care of Pitman Funeral Home P.O. Box 126 Warrenton, MO 63383.
