He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gaffney and Jewel Gaffney (Lila Gaffney); and his siblings, Norman Gaffney, Shirley Craden and Babette Wessel.
He is survived by: his daughter Rachel McDiarmid (New) of Tumut; his sister Dannelle Friedeck of Warrenton, MO; and his grandsons, Iain and Joseph. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (22669 NW Service Rd, Warrenton, MO 63383).
