He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis and Patsy; his grandparents, Oscar, Ethel Newcomer, William and Twila Riley; his nephew Jared Newcomer; and his uncles, Donald Riley, Bernard Riley, Niel Newcomer and Robert Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Matthes; his children, Sarah and Jonathan; his grandchildren, Olivia, Gavin and Rowan; his brothers, Randy Newcomer (Barb) and Roger Newcomer; his nieces and nephews, Jason Newcomer (Megan), Nicole, Matt Newcomer and Desiree Rider (Jason); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Daxton, Lachlan and Riley Newcomer (Jessica); his aunts, Carolyn Riley, Patty Newcomer and Nancy Summers; his sister-in-law Kae Higgins; and also, Lizzy and Liam. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
