He is survived by: his wife Patricia Janish; his father Robert "Bob" Janish of Wright City, MO; his daughter Tera Hockaday (Michael) of St. Peters, MO; his stepchildren, Samantha Shelton (Matt) of Warrenton, MO and Nicholas Shelton (Abbey) of Troy, MO; his grandchildren, Trent, Cody, Alex, Hunter, Hayden and Brooks; and his siblings, Sally Hoener (Doug), Peggy Mannebach (Jack), Connie Hays (Michael), Jean Braden (Jeff) and Timothy Janish.
