He is survived by: his children, Melinda Middleton (Patrick), Joseph Thomas Snyder (Erin) and Susan Flieg (Nicholas); his grandchildren, Daniel, Mackenzie, Joseph Charles and Athena; and his brothers, John Snyder (Cheryl) and David Snyder (Marcia). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
