It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph James Hoffman (Warrenton, Missouri), born in Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Gertrude; his wife Jackie; his son James F. Hoffman; his great grandchild Bryson Elijah Smith; and his siblings, Mary Margaret Hoffman and Thomas Hoffman.
He is survived by: his former wife Jacqueline Mary Sweeney; his children, Joseph J. Hoffman (Roseann), Paul B. Hoffman (Tina), Mike W. Hoffman (Lisa) and Mary Hoffman Smith; and his grandchildren, Joseph J. Hoffman III (Shannon), Paul M. Hoffman (Katie), Matthew Hoffman (Lauren), Jessica Hoffman, James Hoffman (Elizabeth Keeton), Justin Hoffman (Jennifer), Josh Hoffman (Kristina Johnson), Amanda Zachman (Ethan), Paul B. Hoffman (Morgan), Josh Spinaio, Rachael Cory (Anthony), Michael Hoffman, Jacqueline Williams (Charles) and Elizabeth Smith. He is also survived by 29 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
