He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ryan and Clara Ryan (Hall); and his siblings, Dave, Bill, Jeanne and Patricia.
He is survived by: his children, James Ryan (Lonnie) of Wentzville, MO, Kelly Ryan of O'Fallon, MO and Sue Johnson (South County) of St. Louis; his granddaughter Cori Diaz; and his sister Cathleen.
