He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzy Nicholas and Dellar Nicholas (O'Neal); his former wife Betty Nicholas; and his siblings, Monroe, Louise, Gracie Mae, Gladys, Donie, Dorothy and Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Nicholas of Warrenton; his children, Nancy Cathey (Randy) of Water Valley, KY, Janet Niehoff (Ted) of Troy, Lonnie Nicholas (Karla) of Warrenton, Anita Marshall (Charles) of Elkville, IL, Paul Wood (Carrie) of Cookville, TN and Jeremy Wood (Tracy) of Pearland, TX; his grandchildren, Crystal McGaha, Justin Niehoff (Jen), Valerie Wilson (Evan), Shawn Nicholas (Cathryn), Jason Nicholas (Audrey), Kayla Broeker (Austin), Nicole Brand (Doug), Tiffani Cole (Clint), Sierra Bilbrey (Anthony) and Olivia Wood; and his great grandchildren, Zavier, Kaley, Gage, Scarlet, Savannah, Sadie, Grant, Madeline, Levi, Paytyn, Sophia, Vinny, Avery and Liam. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
