He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Elizabeth; his son Darrell; and his siblings, Vilinda McCann, Joseph Polston, Melvin Polston, James Polston, Glenn Polston and Keith Polston.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Ruth Parsons; his grandson Andrew Polston (Megan); his great grandchild Garrett; and his brother Burton Bill Polston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
