He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Joseph and Agnes Braun; his father-in-law Charles; and his brother John. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Caroline McKenna; his wife Carol McKenna Braun of Warrenton; and his siblings, Joseph, William Braun, Carl Altenhofer, Camille Papes, Elsie Coleman, Hilda Volpo, Helen Boyd and Agnes Petty.
