It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Gettinger (Warrenton, Missouri), born in Lutesville, Missouri, who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie; his parents, Edward Bernard and Hilda Mueller Gettinger; his children, Donald Edward Gettinger (Lorraine) of Milan, Julie Marie Cinco (Jerome) of St. Charles, Jean Marie Burle (Raymond) of Warrenton and Anne Marie McEowen (Robert) of Jefferson City, Missouri.; and his sister Teresa Gettinger Szachnieski (Frank) of St. Louis, Missouri.. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Due to social gathering limitations related to the coronavirus pandemic, Ed will be laid to rest following a private mass and graveside service for family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Rosary Church or a charity of choice.
