She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon and Nellie; her husband Donald Eugene Groeber; her daughter Evelyn Pritchett; and her siblings, Curtiss Potthast, Violet Herndon, Ruby Mann and Manuel Potthast.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Lombard, Linda Mitchell (James) and Patricia Bakker (David); her grandchildren, Mike Pettig (Lori), Sandy Courtney (Bill), Kelli Adams (Rick), Susan Lombard, Victoria Hines (Shane), Daniel Brandenburg (Marcie), Joanna Falloon (Chris), Jason Bakker (Janelle) and Jackie Dalton (Mark); her siblings, Sylvia McCarty, Pearl Rutledge and Winston Potthast (Sue); and her sisters-in-law, Martha Potthast and Betty Potthast. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
