He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Prior; his daughter Charlene Prior; his foster daughter Lelia Darnell; and his sister Goldie Wright. He is survived by: his son Henry Prior; his grandchildren, Charles Prior (Jade), Emily Prior, Christopher Darnell, Kyle Darnell, Bailey Ressegger and Jessye Ressegger; his pets, Gunner and Ruger; and his sisters, Ruby Hess and Sylvia Yocum.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
