She is survived by: her children, Donald Shaw (Yolanda), Merle Shaw (Rita), Ed Shaw (Jennifer), Tom Johnson (Shannon), James Johnson, Minnie Garcia and Dawn Nicolai; and her siblings, Mary Jane Blackwell, Minnie Evans and Bennie Elkins. She is also survived by 9 children, 27 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
